Baker Motion has developed a full line of servers to allow users an easy way to communicate between popular HMI packages and Delta Tau's PMAC series of motion controllers.  All major HMI packages are fully supported and we offer servers built on both DDE and OPC technology.

  SerOPC - Baker has developed an OPC Server which allows any OPC (2.0) compatible client to communicate with a Delta Tau PMAC motion controller.  With this server, clients can gain access to all of PMAC's variables.  This includes I, M, P and Q variables (up to 8192 each) and Dual Ported Ram locations.  The server uses Delta Tau's communication drivers so it can be run simultaneously with programs like Delta Tau's Executive program and MotionSoft.  It supports simultaneous communications to multiple PMACs over the serial port and/or the bus.  The server runs on any 32-bit environment (95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000).  This server has been tested with WonderWare's InTouch, Intellution's Fix32 and IFix, and Iconic's Genisis32 Suite of OPC Tools.

With the Configurator tool, tagname setup and mapping is incredibly easy and straight forward.

  Baker has also developed a line of FastDDE servers.  These servers allow any DDE compliant client to commnuicate with Delta Tau's PMAC series of motion controllers.  With these servers a user can gain access to a total of 4096 variables from the PMAC.  These include 1024 of each I's, P's, M's and Q variables. 

     The servers were written with wonderware's DDE server toolkit which minimizes DDE message transfers by using dynamic polling.  The server takes advantage of FastDDE when used with Wonderware's InTouch product.  The DDE server is available in two different versions.  There is a serial version and a bus version.  Each version will run under the following operating systems:
